The Lesotho Bicycle Project launched in January 2011 when a group of passionate mountain bikers got together to cross Lesotho on bicycles, mostly off-road, from Morija in the Western Lowlands to the the famous Sani Pass in the East. The mission was successful and served as a recce for the first Lesotho Sky race in November of the same year.
